Football Fun

My nephew, Cooper, had a football game tonight in Macon and so we went to watch him play at Stratford. They lost 27-24 but it was a good game and they battled it out until the last few seconds.

This is Reilly and Bridger in between one of our many concession stand runs. Mike said we spent about $40 at the concession stand so in these days of Hurricane Ike and the gas problems I guess that equals about a quarter of a tank of gas. Oh well, everybody was happy and relatively calm so we could watch the game and that makes it well worth it!

Reilly thought she was a cheerleader and Connor, Garrett, and Bridger played football in between trips to the concession stand. It was only about 95 degrees tonight so that's why they all look like they were actually playing for the team. You can tell just how steamy it was by how sweaty they all are. And, of course it wouldn't be football if we weren't a little bit dirty, too. For the record, I can't stand this little hand signal that Garrett is doing but my batteries were going dead so I didn't have many shots to choose from. I guess he picks that up from watching the pro players.

It's hard to believe that next year Cooper will be driving! Even though his team didn't win we still had a great time.

How cute! If you notice in semi slacker's blog the photo of Avery and Alden, Avery is doing the same signal!! What the heck is that all about?
