Blogger Block

If there is anybody out there that still bothers to check this blog, I apologize. I realize it has been almost two weeks since I have posted but I have been suffering from "Blogger Block". I have been busy, busy, busy (like everybody else!) and I read so many blogs with funny or inspiring posts every day. Unfortunately, I just haven't had anything funny or inspiring to post about. Not that anything bad or boring has been going on-it's just my usual life and I haven't been able to think of a way to make that into a clever post lately! I have, however, been trying to do my part to stimulate the economy. On Sunday, chilly weather decided to make its first appearance here in Georgia and I quickly realized that none of my children had pants that fit-they either wouldn't button or looked like we were getting ready for another 100 year flood. And the only shoes that Reilly had that fit are either Crocs or flip-flops and those aren't very helpful in cold weather. To make matters worse, the boys can only wear khaki or navy pants to school and they hate to shop. So on Sunday afternoon, I had to make an emergency run for school pants and winter shoes, all in about 2 hours time. Connor got 2 pairs of pants and only one fit so I had to wash those on Monday night and let him wear them again on Tuesday since we had a baseball game on Monday night and of course, that is more important than shopping for school pants! Reilly got one pair of little fall shoes and they are pink so again that is only a temporary fix. Sometimes I wish the weather stayed mild enough here for shorts and Crocs all year. :)
